Resumes are being accepted for the temporary position of Cleaner within the Culture and Recreation Department. Reporting to the Supervisor, Recreation Facility Operations, the successful candidate will safely perform a wide variety of duties related to facility cleaning and facility operations, within Recreation facilities including seniors centre, a pottery centre, 2 multi-purpose Community Centres containing aquatic centres, arenas, and multipurpose rooms, auditorium/gymnasium, stand-alone arenas and pools including one outdoor pool and an air supported sports dome. In addition, the position will competently and safely use a variety of cleaning equipment and vehicles to perform cleaning duties. The functions performed in this position are in accordance with established standard operating procedures, departmental and corporate policies, practices, and legislated requirements with a focus on quality customer service and continuous improvements. Any five (5) consecutive shifts of eight (8) consecutive hours, 4:00am – 1:00am, Sunday through Saturday (rotation will be involved).
Pay/Salary
CUPE 241: Grade 1 Rate: $28.31 per hour
