Resumes are being accepted for the temporary position of Waste Packer Operator in the Solid Waste Resources Division. Reporting to the Residential Waste Collection Supervisor, or their designate, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for assisting with Residential yard waste collection, waste collection, perform general labour (i.e. lawn maintenance, litter clean-up & missed waste calls), etc. The successful candidates will have a focus on quality customer service and continuous improvement. Guided by the goals and objectives of the City’s Strategic Plan and committed to the Corporate Values of integrity, service, inclusion, wellness and learning, the candidate will aid in the achievement of the Vision for an inclusive, connected and prosperous city.

Hours of work
Any eight (8) consecutive hours between 5:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. This job requires Saturday hours during weeks containing statutory holidays.
