Resumes are being accepted for the position of Primary Care / Advanced Care Paramedic (Part Time) within the Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Service. Both candidates graduating and candidates currently certified with one of the eight Ontario base hospitals are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate(s) will provide emergency medical aid and patient transport with a focus on quality customer service and continuous improvement processes.

Advanced Care Paramedic: $48.97 per hour (Effective Apr 1, 2025)

Successful candidates will move through the following process:

By mid-September 2026 (Approximate): Employee Contracts Offered
September 2026: Employment Preparation (documentation, uniform, mask-fit etc.)
(Base Hospital Documentation due by September 18, 2026)
October 2026: Tentative Orientation Start (Approx. up to 4 weeks)
Experienced Candidates certified by a Base Hospital may be subject to a condensed orientation period.
