Reporting to the Manager, Technical Services, the Supervisor, Waste Program & Technical Services is responsible for leading a team of innovative and dedicated full-time and seasonal staff that support the operations of Solid Waste Services achieving technical operations and strategic public-facing programs, engagement and education goals of the Council-approved Solid Waste Plans and Strategies to reclaim and sustain service capacity and minimize environmental impact. Building on the City’s reputation as an innovative and creative leader in municipal waste services and programming, the Supervisor will lead the development, administration, and evaluation of this multidisciplinary portfolio.
