Resumes are being accepted for the position of Supervisor, Solid Waste Services within the Operations Department. Your knowledge of trucks, heavy equipment, safety legislation, staff and route scheduling will ensure effective and efficient supervision of Residential Collection, Logistics and Site Operations Staff. Reporting to the Manager, Logistics & Site Operations, the ideal candidate will have a focus on safety, quality customer service and continuous improvement processes. Guided by the goals and objectives of City of Guelph Corporate Strategic Plan and committed to the Corporate Values of integrity, service inclusion, wellness and learning, the candidate will aid in the achievement of the Community Vision for an inclusive, connected, prosperous city.

Hours of work
Monday to Friday 7 hours per day between the hours of 6 am to 4:45 pm. On a rotational basis on call work, Saturday work to cover shifts from holidays and other leadership coverage.
